1) Diligence
2) Passion
3) Integrity
95% of internet businesses never make a profit. I have learned that if you are new it really helps to have a mentor or partner on the internet so you don't make many of the same costly mistakes that other people make.
For instance I trusted to put my website on a pay per click for $25.00 and didn't get much help and no sales.
1) People who offer get rich quick schemes are just scheming at you psychologically to get you to buy their program or ebook. They are probably making little if anything themselves. Selfishness is rampant on the internet.
2) I have found that the people who have been successful will sell you an overpriced ebook but usually will not spend any time with you helping you to succeed yourself. What good are they doing you when they are just taking more money from you. If one ebook could make you successful by itself then wouldn't everyone be buying it? No I believe that trial and error and partnerships and mentoring is what new people need. Unfortantly nobody really helped me personally to make money until after 8 months of designing my website. This person helped me without asking for any money just some market trading.
3) The biggest problem I had was I wasn't directly asking for the money. Because I am an electrical engineer and don't think like a marketer there were many things that I was missing or not doing.

You have to know what you want to accomplish and how you intend to accomplish it.
I propose creating a brand new concept. Program swaps, chat room,
and telephone to telephone mentoring along with traditional email support.
I believe the isolation that many people feel along with the lack of success and help is why many people give up. With continued hosting and ISP fees and program fees it can get too expensive for some people.
Trying to do too much too soon is a recipe for frustration and failure.
You must have patience and determination to succeed.
Each thing you learn contributes to your contiued success.
Advertising is literally the life blood of your online business.
The worst thing I ever did was post to an FFA blaster. No one pays any attention to your posting but thousands of people flood your email for days and weeks and it seem like it will never end. Of course it is good for the people who own the FFA's. The same is true for free classified ads. Usually you get what you pay for. People that are only looking for free stuff are usually not spending any money. You can't get much for nothing. Half of what is offered on the internet is a scam or illegal. Knowledge is power.
You must learn to appeal to people's emotions rather than intellect. Do not underestimate the power of good ad copy. Do not sell a prospect your product, sell your prospect an image of him or herself realizing and enjoying the benifits of your product.
Just putting a great website on the internet will not get you traffic. You must get traffic to get sales. I have a web page devoted to traffic programs Click Here
